I started Mucosal Melanoma Survivor LLC for handful of reasons, but the number one reason was so that when the next patient came along with a similar diagnosis and did an internet search, that something positive and up to date would be available. That there would be some hope and an example to show others of what can be done.
When I was diagnosed in July of 2018, I had never even heard of Mucosal Melanoma or even know that you could even get Melanoma where the sun doesn't shine. The only thing i knew about Melanoma was that it was associated with skin cancer and UV Rays. I went to research my diagnosis so I could see other survival testimonies and get an understanding of what was going on and how to approach what was next but there was none. Everything I could find was doom and gloom and out of date. It was a real eye-opener that I needed to give it everything I got and WHEN I made it, not if but when, that I would create enough noise and create enough content so that when a search is done about Mucosal Melanoma that I would pop up on the browser and my story would be that inspiration for the next as I pay it forward.
Since my last treatment in January of 2020, I have been dedicated as a Volunteer/Advocate in sharing my experience as much as I can through Podcasts, Survival story publications, webinars, and as many outlets as possible.
I am currently a Keynote Inspirational Speaker for Mucosal Melanoma and TIL Therapy, a Juice Plus affiliate, and a soon to be Self-Publishing Author. I will also have Merchandise available for sale soon as well.

Constantly evolving and putting out new content so more people understand that Mucosal Melanoma is not skin cancer. You dont know what you need to know until you need to know it. My mother introduced me to Juice Plus in 2017. In 2018 I tripled up to bridge the gap and prime my system nutritionally. As a Mucosal Melanoma Survivor, I continue to promote and share Juice Plus and healthy living but now as an affiliate.
